Rep. K.C. Tomlinson Says She is Focused on Economic Policy
Kathleen Christine "K.C." Tomlinson, the incumbent for Pennsylvania's 18th State House District, says she is committed to the well-being of her constituents.
Tomlinson says her dedication is evident in her service on key committees, including Consumer Protection, Technology & Utilities, Professional Licensure, Gaming Oversight, and Human Services. She emphasizes that she advocates for policies and regulations that help Pennsylvanians in these House Committees.
Tomlinson says her economic agenda includes measures to strengthen and fund public schools, recognizing that a supported workforce is essential for economic growth. By prioritizing support for Bensalem’s businesses and workforce, Tomlinson says Pennsylvania will remain competitive in the 21st-century.
As another pillar of Tomlinson's economic agenda, she says she is dedicated to fiscal responsibility. Her site highlights her commitment to “holding the line on taxes and keeping… paychecks safe,” ensuring that Bensalem residents can keep more of their paychecks.
Tomlinson entered the House of Representatives through a special election in March 2020 and secured her first full term in November of the same year. Raised in Bensalem, Tomlinson attended local schools and graduated from Bensalem High School. Her involvement in her family's business, Tomlinson Funeral Home, instilled in her a sense of community service from an early age. She is a graduate of the Mercer County Mortuary Program and now serves as a third-generation licensed funeral director.
Tomlinson is a member of the Bensalem Business Association, the Pennsylvania Funeral Directors Association, and the Bensalem Township Republican Executive Committee.
