State Assembly Candidate Ryan Spaude Says He’s Running to Give Relief to Working Families From High Costs
Ryan Spaude is a Democrat running for Wisconsin State Assembly District 89. He says the reason he is running is to give relief to working families. According to his campaign website, “the stock market keeps going up, but way too many families around Green Bay are just barely getting by.”
According to Spaude, “with a historic $7 billion budget surplus, we can invest in public education, raise the minimum wage, fully fund the Child Care Counts Program, and finally expand Medicaid.”
Spaude says that if he is elected to the State Assembly, one of his main priorities will be to raise the minimum wage so that workers are paid a fair wage.
As a product of Wisconsin’s public schools, Spaude says “they are the backbone of our communities, and it would be foolish not to invest in our future --- our kids.”
