Rep. Valerie Gaydos Says She’s Focused on Fiscal Responsibility

In the race to keep her seat for Pennsylvania’s 44th House District, State Representative Valerie Gaydos has emphasized her position as an advocate for fiscal responsibility and fostering economic growth in the state.

At the core of her policymaking, Gaydos says she has worked to implement fiscal management measures and tax relief. She states she has “saved taxpayers $16,000 in just her first year by refusing taxpayer-funded perks” and has worked on the timely completion of the state budget.

In the realm of economic development, Gaydos says she prioritizes policies aimed at supporting small businesses and promoting job creation. She serves as Chair of the Small Business Subcommittee of the House Commerce Committee, and she says she has been involved in efforts to assist entrepreneurs and programs for job seekers. Gaydos says she has a track record of introducing legislation to help small businesses and consumers by improving access to affordable health insurance and reducing business taxes.

Her efforts have garnered support from stakeholders, including business associations, industry groups, and labor organizations. Endorsements of her campaign include the National Federation of Independent Businesses and the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business & Industry.
