Rep. James Haddock Looks To Ease Financial Burdens and Lower Costs for Pennsylvania Families

State Representative James Haddock says he wants to tap into Pennsylvania’s economic potential and lower costs for workers and families in the Commonwealth.

With 1.1 million small businesses based in Pennsylvania, Rep. Haddock says that his background as a small business owner with over 30 years of experience has given him insight to draw from to bridge the gap between helping lower costs for families and ensuring economic growth for Pennsylvanians.

As a former union member, Haddock recognizes that workers drive Pennsylvania’s economic engine. To bolster Pennsylvania’s workforce, Haddock says on his web site that he will be “a staunch advocate for labor and workers” and support their right to unionize.

When asked about education, Haddock says he prioritizes funding to drive Pennsylvania's economic competitiveness. He pledges to allocate resources to public schools, enhance STEM programs, and bolster trade and vocational education. Highlighting the significance of partnerships between educational institutions and businesses, Haddock aims to create pathways for Pennsylvania students to seamlessly transition into the labor market.

Rep. Haddock says that his background in banking, insurance, and small business ownership will further support his role as a state representative and continue to inform his decision-making. Haddock represents Pennsylvania’s 118th House District.
