Former Brown County Board Member Patrick Buckley to Run for State Assembly
Patrick Buckley is the Republican candidate for Wisconsin State Assembly District 89. He began his career as a Green Bay police officer, and then became a small business owner. In 2010, he was elected as a Brown County Board member where he served as chairman.
According to a press release announcing his campaign, as a member of the Brown County Board, Buckley has worked to eliminate wasteful spending and reduce county debt.
In an interview with WisPolitics, Buckley said that “we need to cut waste out of government, streamline services to stretch taxpayers’ dollars while making smart investments to grow our economy.”
Buckley noted that he has “a proven track record here on the local level and I’ll bring that commonsense philosophy to the State Assembly.”
