Candidates Lisa Trombley and Katie Kniss Run for State Representative Seat in Michigan's 103rd District
In the race for State Representative in Michigan’s 103rd District, Republican candidates Katie Kniss and Lisa Trombley are prioritizing policies that help to grow Michigan’s economy.
Trombley is a native Michigander with 30 years of experience in government contracting, and says her focus is to “rebuild our economy” and support legislation that limits restrictions to allow the economy to grow.
Trombley has served as Chair of the Grand Traverse County Republican Party.
Kniss is also a Michigan native. A mother and small business owner, she says that she would “create the jobs that provide for our families and their futures.” Kniss says that she would support policies to eliminate the income tax.
Trombley, Kniss, and a third candidate, Tripp Garcia, will face off in the Republican primary on August 6.
