State Assembly Candidate and Small Business Owner Christy Welch Wants to Build a More Equitable Future for All Wisconsinites
Christy Welch is the Democratic candidate for Wisconsin State Assembly District 88. In a press release announcing her campaign, Welch said she wants to “build a more equitable future and open doors to opportunity and prosperity for everyone.” She says that “our community deserves leadership that prioritizes public well-being over personal gain, and I am committed to representing the needs of our citizens.”
According to her campaign website, Welch is “a dedicated business leader and community advocate” whose “diverse experience includes small business ownership, HR management, and various leadership roles in the manufacturing sector.” Welch says she is running for state assembly “to prioritize public well-being over personal gain.”
Welch currently serves as the chief business systems officer at FyterTech Nonwovens, a Green Bay manufacturing company.
